I am a Fearless and Passionate Explorer of Materials seeking to Alter Environments and Evoke Transformation. I am a formidable painter of twenty-five years currently merging contemporary mixed media into classical oil paintings. My subjects are biology inspired and life experience witnessed.
Internationally Collected and locally sourced these large works reflect a lifetime of learning and moving around the United States. Depth of emotion in the making stems from motherhood, foster parenting, financial hardship, and surviving Cancer.
Photos show me painting at age two with a bottle propped on my easel. May I die with a paintbrush between my fingers. I am called to be an Artist against all odds. And by the grace of God I am continuing that journey up the steep mountain.
